Local Indianapolis media, such as here, are reporting that a man was arrested this evening after bringing a loaded gun into a meeting that was called to address recent online threats to Plainfield High School.
The community meeting was called after weeks of anonymous online threats via facebook towards the school which has prompted it to close it’s doors when said threats occur. During the meeting, Avon resident Ronald Kendal was taken into custody after he had informed many people around him that he brought a gun into the meeting for his own safety, which prompted concerns.
He was charged with possession of a firearm on school property and was later released from the Hendricks County Jail after posting a $500 cash bond.
After digging a little more and finding his DOB from Hendricks County Jail Search and applying it towards a criminal search using http://www.mycase.in.gov, the only citation he has in the state of Indiana is a speeding ticket from 2004. Again, that is only in the state of Indiana and no others. However, there is strong possibility that prior to his arrest tonight, in the eyes of the society, he was a “law abiding citizen.”
